The Great Indian Kapil Show: Archana Puran Singh Discusses Sunita Ahuja's Replacement Comments

The Great Indian Kapil Show: Navjot Singh Sidhu was once a regular on Kapil Sharma's shows. However, Archana Puran Singh took over his role and has been part of the team for about six years now. Initially, Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show aired on television. Currently, Kapil and his team are featured on Netflix with The Great Indian Kapil Show. The first season premiered earlier this year, and the second season is ongoing.

A few days ago, Sunita Ahuja, wife of Govinda, mentioned in an interview that Kapil once suggested she could replace Archana on the show. When Filmibeat asked Archana about this comment, she responded, "How do you know it was in jest? Maybe Kapil told her seriously that sit on Archana ma'am's chair, and I don't know what Sunita responded."

The second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show began streaming on Netflix from 21st September 2024. New episodes are released every Saturday on the OTT platform. The first episode featured Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Vedang Raina, and Vasan Bala promoting their film Jigra, which is set to release on 11th October 2024.

In the second episode, viewers saw the team from Devara with Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan making appearances.

When informed that Sunita declined due to her strained relationship with Krushna, Archana humorously added, "Yes, she said that she can't do it because of Krushna. Toh bhaiya Krushna ke ghar mujhe mithaai bhejne padegi, ke teri wajahse meri kursi barkarar hai (laughs) (I have to send sweets at Krushna house as because of him my chair (position) is intact)."
