The eagerly awaited Korean drama The Fiery Priest 2 is set to premiere today, November 8. Directed by Lee Myung-woo and Park Bo-ram, this comedy-drama is a sequel to the 2019 hit series. Fans have been eagerly anticipating its return, and their wait is finally over.

Airing from February 15 to April 20, 2019, the first season of The Fiery Priest consisted of 20 episodes. It quickly became a major success, earning the title of the highest-rated miniseries drama on public broadcast that year.

The new season promises an engaging mix of suspense, mystery, comedy, and action. The original cast returns for more adventures. The story follows Kim Hae Il, also known as Michael, a former NIS agent turned Catholic priest. His life takes a dramatic turn when he investigates the mysterious death of a senior priest.

Kim Hae Il's fiery temper and strong sense of justice lead him into conflict with powerful foes. Among them is a corrupt prosecutor who initially hinders his mission but later joins forces with him and Detective Goo Dae Young to uncover the truth.

In Season 2, Kim Hae Il receives a special mission from the Pope to tackle a new group of villains. Kim Nam Gil reprises his role as the determined priest. Fans are eager to see his performance after his acclaimed portrayal in Season 1.

The Fiery Priest 2 will premiere on SBS Network in Korea and other countries today, November 8. For international viewers, including those in India, it will be available on Disney Plus Hotstar at 6:30 pm IST. It replaces The Judge from Hell in its time slot.

This second season consists of 12 episodes. New episodes will be released every Friday and Saturday each week.

Honey Lee returns as Park Gyeong Sun, the reformed prosecutor who once worked for the corrupt Gudam administration but now aids in fighting evil. Kim Sung Kyun also reprises his role as Goo Dae Young, collaborating with Park Gyeong Sun against formidable adversaries.
