17-Year-Old Monetizes Fun Family Videos, Inspires Young Audience
Meet Jagdish, a 17-year-old student from Mumbai. Jagdish lives with his parents, two brothers, and two sisters. His father runs a small shop, and his mother takes care of the family. While having fun creating videos with his siblings, Jagdish found the perfect storyline to earn money by having fun with his family.
Jagdish started his creator journey four years ago with his younger siblings out of fun only. Once he got the hang of it, he thought of making his videos more interesting. One day he stumbled upon a creator named Deepesh Zo who creates emotional stories with visual effects (VFX). Jagdish found the "wow" element he was looking for. He started adding quirky VFX elements to his videos, which started attracting a lot of views.

Jagdish's videos are a mix of creativity and education, especially for the younger audience on platforms like Josh. In this video, where he is using imagery of non-veg food and fruits to teach kids to have a healthy lifestyle.
Reflecting on his content, Jagdish says, "I want to make children more aware, just the way I want for my younger brothers and sisters, hence I make such videos." Each video radiates Jagdish's approach towards shaping young minds with positive and moral messages, like helping them make the right decisions about wealth and material things in this video.
Today, Jagdish is making a name among a large young audience with his biggest fan following on the short video platform Josh. With over 100 million active viewers from Non-Metro cities and content in over 10 Indian regional languages, Josh is becoming a hotspot for creators like Jagdish who find the right audience for their content on this platform.
In fact Jagdish's moral education videos have now enabled him to earn money on Josh. This is not via the typical method of brand sponsorships that most influencers on short video platforms use, but via a unique program. Josh has a program named Creator Pro, which is designed to pay creators for any video which causes high engagement on the platform. This is unlike most platforms, most of which are remunerative only for creators who have millions of followers and/or who create videos for metro or top-tier audiences. As Jagdish mentioned, "Making videos with my siblings was fun but nothing beats the feeling of earning money for those videos. I am glad that I discovered Creator Pro, but now I can give my brothers and sisters cool little gifts, too!'' Jagdish shared.
Jagdish has big plans for the future. He wants to keep making videos and inspire others like his favourite YouTubers who inspire him. With the support of his family and his older brother helping out in the family shop, Jagdish is excited about what lies ahead.
