Parents Outraged By Tamannaah Bhatia's Feature In School Textbook
Parents File Complaint As Tamannaah Bhatia Gets Introduced In School Textbooks: We all have studied Rajas and Maharajas and Mughals and British in our schools. But now that generation has changed and textbooks are evolved, do you believe actors and actresses are someone that should be introduced in school textbooks? Well, don't think too much because they have already been. A private school in Hebbal, Bengaluru is facing outrage for introducing Tamannaah Bhatia and Ranveer Singh in one of the chapters on Sindhi community in their school. Tamannaah life, career, and films have been described in a textbook for the 7th grade under title "Life of Indian people after the Partition of Sindhi." This came as a shock to many parents, leading them to approach Karnataka Station Commission for Protection of Child Rights and the Associated Management of Primary and Secondary Schools in Karnataka and condemning the latest addition in the textbook.
According to Deccan Herald's report, details about actress Tamannaah Bhatia have been included in a class 7 textbook. This addition appears in a chapter titled "Life after Partition: Migration, Community and Strife in Sindhi, 1947 to 1962." Alongside Tamannaah, Ranveer Singh has also been featured. Parents expressed concerns regarding the content related to Tamannaah.

A parent lodged a complaint with the commission and association stating, "We have no objections on children being introduced about another culture." The parent further mentioned, "But our objection is about having a chapter on an actor that is unsuitable for grade 7 students." Another parent voiced their concern by saying, "We have no issues about lessons on veteran actors in the community, but if children were to look up on the internet about this actress, they will get inappropriate content." Some parents disclosed that they were threatened with transfer certificates for their wards if they raised objections against the system.
The inclusion of details about actress Tamannaah Bhatia in a class 7 textbook has sparked controversy. The chapter focuses on "Life after Partition: Migration, Community and Strife in Sindhi, 1947 to 1962," featuring both Tamannaah and Ranveer Singh.
