Taha Shah Badussha Stands By Sharmin Segal Amidst Heeramandi Trolling

In a recent interaction with Filmibeat, Taha Shah Badussha was asked if he had spoken to Sharmin about the criticism. He mentioned, "I didn't get an opportunity to speak to her because she also recently got married. We have not got into sit down and chat about it."

Taha defended Sharmin by stating, "Whoever is there in this series, nobody is going to be here if they are not a good actor. Bhansali sir would have never chosen somebody who is not a good actor; who he doesn't think is a good actor."

Taha further elaborated on his observations of Sharmin on set. "I know her as a person and as an actress. She is always there on time and she has always tried to put her best foot forward. What else can you expect from a person?" he said.

He added, "Sharmin is a very strong girl and she is mentally also very strong. I believe that all these things are part and parcel of the whole thing, and it's a growth."
