'Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba': Taapsee Pannu's Thrilling Return In Sequel
Haseen Dillruba Ending Recap Ahead Of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba Release: After three years, Taapsee Pannu is set to return to OTT screens as 'Rani Kashyap'. She first paired with Vikrant Massey in the dark romantic-thriller 'Haseen Dillruba' (2021). Despite mixed reviews from critics, the film gained a significant fan base on Netflix. As fans eagerly await the sequel, 'Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba', let's revisit the ending of the first part.
Directed by Vinil Mathew, 'Haseen Dillruba' featured Taapsee Pannu as Rani, who was obsessed with pulp-fiction crime-thriller novels. The 2021 film centred on Rani's twisted love story with Rishu, played by Vikrant Massey. Rani desired her life to be as thrilling as the novels she read by Dinesh Pandit. Her mundane married life took a dramatic turn with Neel's entry.

Directed by Jayprad Desai and written by Kanika Dhillon, Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey are set to reprise their roles as 'Rani' and 'Rishu' in the much-anticipated sequel, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. This time, Sunny Kaushal joins the cast as 'Abhimanyu'. The film also stars Jimmy Shergill and Aditya Srivastava in important roles.
Amid much anticipation, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is all set for its premiere tomorrow, i.e., August 9, 2024. The film will drop on Netflix at 12:30 PM IST.
After Rani confesses about her steamy extra-marital affair with Neel to her husband Rishu, their marital life takes a violent turn due to Rishu's rage. Despite his violent outbursts, he reconciles with Rani. Neel returns and threatens them with leaking Rani's intimate photos. In a twist of fate, Rani accidentally kills Neel using a frozen leg of mutton.
Instead of calling the police, Rishu stages his own death inspired by one of Rani's favourite crime novels. He even cuts his arm to mislead the police. However, the police eventually solve the mystery and realise they replicated the novel's ending. The film concludes with Rani and Rishu reuniting and starting anew in another city.
The question remains: Did their 'happily ever after' begin? Watch 'Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba' on Netflix tomorrow to find out what happens next.
