Taal Re-Release In Theatres On September 27 To Celebrate Its 25th Anniversary

Subhash Ghai's musical romance "Taal" is set to return to Indian cinemas, marking 25 years since its original release. Featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Akshaye Khanna, and Anil Kapoor, the film will be shown again on September 27. Ghai, who co-wrote, edited, and produced the movie, expressed his excitement about its re-release. "With the re-release, I'm thrilled that audiences can experience 'Taal' again on the big screen, reliving its magic all over again," he stated.

Upon its initial release on August 13, 1999, "Taal" was praised for its ensemble cast performances. The film also featured Amrish Puri, Alok Nath, Mita Vashisth, and Saurabh Shukla. According to Box Office India, the movie was made with a budget of Rs 15 crore and earned over Rs 35 crore domestically. It was considered a "semi hit." The film's success was significantly bolstered by its unforgettable soundtrack by Anand Bakshi and AR Rahman.

The songs from "Taal," such as "Taal Se Taal Mila," "Ishq Bina," and "Nahin Saamne," continue to be cherished by music enthusiasts. Zee Studios is responsible for bringing this cinematic gem back to theatres.
