Anil Kapoor Starts Prep For Suresh Triveni’s 'Subedaar' OTT Release, Shares Glimpse From Set
Mumbai, Jun 17 (PTI) Actor Anil Kapoor announced on Monday that he has started training for his upcoming film "Subedaar," directed by Suresh Triveni, known for "Tumhari Sulu." The film, described as an action drama, is written by Triveni and Prajwal Chandrashekar. Kapoor shared this update on Instagram, where he can be seen preparing for the role. "Abhi toh haath utha hi kahaan hai, Yeh toh bas Taiyyari hai #Subedaar Prep begins," the 67-year-old actor captioned the post. "Subedaar" was officially announced at the Prime Video Presents event in March.
According to Prime Video, the film follows Kapoor's character Arjun Singh, who is struggling with civilian life, a strained relationship with his daughter, and societal issues. "The man who once fought for the nation must now fight enemies within to protect his home and family," the makers stated. Vikram Malhotra, Triveni, and Kapoor are producing the film under Abundantia Entertainment, Opening Image, and Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network Pvt. Ltd., respectively. Kapoor was last seen in the aerial action drama "Fighter" and is set to host "Bigg Boss" OTT season 3.
