Stree 2 Inches Close To Rs 600Cr, Set To Beat Tiger Zinda Hai's Record

Stree 2 Worldwide Box Office Day 12 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor have every reason to celebrate. Their latest film, Stree 2, has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. This horror comedy, a sequel to the 2018 hit Stree, has generated significant buzz since its announcement. Sacnilk reported that Stree 2 earned Rs 90 crores on day 11 (second Sunday), bringing its total collection to around Rs 540 crores. Based on current trends, the film is expected to maintain its momentum today (day 12/second Monday) with an estimated earning of Rs 20-50 crores worldwide. If these predictions hold true, Stree 2 will surpass the lifetime global collections of Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 564.2 crores) and Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 (Rs 556.74 crores).

Director Amar Kaushik shared his thoughts on the film's success with Connect Cine: "I didn't expect this big response. I think the audience wants such films to come out. Where ever I would go, people kept asking me 'What is the end of Stree?' This film was made on public demand. We didn't hurry with this film because we wanted to do justice to the story. We thought it clicked well with the public when we released the trailer but when we opened the advance ticket sale, we were like, 'What is happening?' This is just love of the public".

The movie's impressive performance can be attributed to its engaging storyline and strong performances by the cast. The anticipation built up from the first film also played a significant role in drawing audiences to theatres.
