Stree 2 Sets New Record As Shraddha Kapoor's Highest Grossing Film

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 10 Early Update: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's Stree 2 is on track to become the year's biggest hit. Directed by Amar Kaushik, this horror-comedy sequel released on 15th August 2024, faced stiff competition from Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa. However, Stree 2 has dominated the box office, outperforming both films significantly within two weeks.

The film features Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in lead roles. It earned Rs 51.8 crore on its opening day. Stree 2 concluded its first week with a total collection of Rs 274.85 crore. According to Sacnilk, the movie grossed around Rs 17.5 crore on its second Friday, bringing the nine-day total to Rs 309.15 crore.

Notably, Shraddha's film has surpassed the nett collection of Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra: Part 1. Brahmastra had grossed ₹418.8 crore worldwide and ₹257.44 crore nett (₹306.48 crore gross) in India.

Shraddha Kapoor shared that Stree 2's worldwide box office collection stands at Rs 456 crores in nine days, making it her highest-grossing film to date.

Previously, Saaho (2019), which reportedly earned between ₹419 crore and ₹439 crore (US$62.34 million) worldwide, was her highest-grossing film. Now, Stree 2 has taken that spot.

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 10 Early Updates

After a phenomenal first week, Stree 2 continues to perform strongly at the box office. According to Sacnilk's latest report, the film has seen an increase in numbers today (second Saturday). The report indicates that the movie has already earned around Rs 20.07 crore today (day ten) by 7 PM. With the current momentum, it is expected to collect around Rs 30-35 crore on day ten.

The success of Stree 2 highlights its widespread appeal and strong audience reception across India. The film's impressive performance against other major releases underscores its popularity.
