Stree 2 Eclipses Pathaan's Lifetime Collection In Just Five Weeks

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 31: Rajkummar Rao is currently enjoying a successful run at the box office. His third release of the year, Stree 2, has been performing exceptionally well. Following his hits Srikanth and Mr & Mrs Mahi, Rajkummar's latest film has captivated audiences. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 also features Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. It is the fifth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi, Bhediya, and Munjya.

Stree 2 revolves around the sarkat bhoot haunting Chanderi and recorded an impressive opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores in 2024. With no major releases competing against it, the film shattered numerous box office records. It has been challenging big blockbusters like Pathaan, Jawan, Gadar 2, Baahubali 2, and KGF 2. Despite a steady decline in collections since week four, Stree 2 has managed to maintain a strong presence.

According to Sacnilk reports, Stree 2 earned Rs 2.75 crores on its fifth Thursday (day 29) and saw an increase to Rs 3.35 crores on its fifth Friday (day 30). The fifth weekend brought another boost in collections with Rs 5.25 crores on its fifth Saturday (day 31), bringing the total earnings to Rs 547.95 crores.

The remarkable performance of Stree 2 has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan's lifetime collection of Rs 543.05 crores from its release in 2023. This achievement has left everyone impressed with Rajkummar and Shraddha's film.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar is preparing for his fourth release this year. He will star opposite Triptii Dimri in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, set to premiere on October 11. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, this comedy-drama is highly anticipated.
