Shraddha Kapoor's new movie is making headlines for various reasons, and now a connection with her father, Shakti Kapoor, has surfaced. The veteran actor starred in a 1999 film called Sar Kati Laash. Twenty-five years later, his daughter stars in a movie featuring a headless ghost haunting Chanderi.

The sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy Stree features the same cast but introduces new elements. This time, Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan make special appearances. The plot twists as Chanderi faces another ghost after defeating Stree in the previous film.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films in collaboration with Jio Studio. The cast includes Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurrana among others. Dinesh Vijan's horror universe also includes successful films like Munjya and Bhediya.
