Stree 2 OTT Release: Anticipated Free Streaming Date On Prime Video Revealed

Stree 2 OTT Release: Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, Dinesh Vijan's Stree 2 has become a historic success in Bollywood. The horror-comedy has joined the Rs 600 crore club domestically and continues to draw audiences to theatres.

The anticipation for Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik, was immense. Released on August 15, it is the latest addition to Maddock Films' popular horror-comedy series. This franchise began with Stree in 2018 and includes hits like Roohi (2021), Bhediya (2022), and the recent success Munjya (2024).

The film's box office triumph left many fans of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao eager for its digital release. Now, Stree 2 is available on a major OTT platform, though currently only for rent.

Prime Video had previously announced acquiring the digital rights to Stree 2. The film premiered on September 26, offering a fresh perspective on the genre. It can be rented for Rs 349. Despite this option, many viewers still prefer free content on OTT platforms.

Typically, films released for rent on Prime Video become free to stream within 10-15 days after their initial release. Based on this pattern, Stree 2 might be available for free viewing by mid October. However, this remains speculative as no official announcement has been made yet.
