Stree 2 Set To Join The Elite 600 Cr Club Globally In Just Two Weeks
Stree 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 12: Stree 2 has been making waves at the box office since its release. The film has become a major topic of discussion after surpassing Deepika Padukone's Fighter as the biggest box office opener of the year. Now, it has broken all records for movies released this year and is on track to join the 600 Cr club in less than two weeks.
Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik, is a sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy Stree. The film features Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor reprising their roles as Vicky and the mysterious unnamed woman. Additionally, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee play significant roles in the movie.

The film is nearing the end of its second week with a worldwide collection of Rs. 571.75 Cr. Domestically, it has entered the 400 Cr club with a net earning of Rs. 403.05 Cr in India. The gross domestic collection stands at approximately Rs. 481.75 Cr, while overseas earnings have reached Rs. 90 Cr as of day 12.
The big question remains: will Stree 2 enter the Rs. 600 Cr club on day 13? Given current trends, it's expected to earn double digits on day 13. However, with a collection of Rs. 18.50 Cr on day 12, reaching another Rs. 29 Cr might be challenging as collections are likely to dip on its second Tuesday.
The sequel continues to captivate audiences with its unique blend of horror and comedy, much like its predecessor. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's performances have been widely praised, contributing significantly to the film's success.
As Stree 2 approaches its second week’s end, it remains a strong contender at the box office with impressive earnings both domestically and internationally.
The film's success is a testament to its engaging storyline and stellar performances by the cast, ensuring that it remains a favourite among audiences.
