Stree 2 Inches Closer To ₹510Cr Ahead Of Fourth Weekend, Box Office Day 23 Prediction
Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 23 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2, a horror comedy, has been one of the year's major releases. The much-anticipated sequel to the 2018 film Stree, directed by Amar Kaushik, has been a box office hit from day one, ending a dry spell. Also featuring Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi, Stree 2 is the fifth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe following Stree, Roohi, Bhediya, and Munjya.
After an impressive opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores, making it the highest opener of 2024, Stree 2 has continued to perform well at the box office. It has become a strong competitor to other major releases like Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 and Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Pathaan from last year. As Stree 2 enters its fourth week in theatres, it aims to achieve new milestones over the fourth weekend.

Despite experiencing a significant drop in numbers during its third week after strong growth over the third weekend, Stree 2 managed to maintain its hold at the box office. According to Sacnilk, it earned Rs 5.31 crores on day 22 (fourth Thursday), bringing its total collection to Rs 503.21 crores. This achievement makes Stree 2 the second fastest movie to enter the Rs 500 crores club after Jawan.
Given current trends, Stree 2 is expected to earn between Rs 4-5 crores today (day 23/fourth Friday). This would bring it close to Rs 510 crores ahead of the fourth weekend. It remains to be seen if Stree 2 can reach the Rs 600 crores mark during this period.
The success of Stree 2 has sparked speculation about a third installment. Abhishek Banerjee, who plays Janaa in the franchise, told the Indian Express that while Stree 3 will take some time, parts of the script have already been written. He described it as "a big epic saga".
