Stree 2 Faces Box Office Dip On Day 33, Nears 560Cr Goal

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 33 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's latest film, Stree 2, has become the year's biggest hit. Directed by Amar Kaushik, this horror comedy is a sequel to the 2018 film Stree and stars Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee. The movie received rave reviews from audiences, leaving everyone impressed.

The film also featured notable cameos by Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, and Tamannaah Bhatia. The plot revolves around the sarkata bhoot terrorising the women of Chanderi. Stree 2 made a significant impact at the box office from day one, earning Rs 60.3 crores on its opening day in 2024. It has since become the first Bollywood movie of the year to join the prestigious Rs 500 crores club.

Despite struggling in its fourth week and failing to reach Rs 4 crores daily, Stree 2 saw a resurgence during its fifth weekend. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 5.4 crores on day 31 (fifth Saturday) and experienced another increase yesterday. On day 32 (fifth Sunday), it earned Rs 7 crores, bringing its total collection to Rs 555.1 crores.

Following current trends, Stree 2 is expected to see a significant drop in earnings today (day 33/fifth Monday). The horror comedy is predicted to earn between Rs 2-3 crores today, inching closer to the Rs 560 crores mark at the box office.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao is preparing for his fourth release of the year. His upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, co-starring Triptii Dimri and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, is set to release on October 11. This film is anticipated to be a comedy-drama.
