Stree 2's Box Office Triumph: Crosses Rs 200 Cr Mark By Day 5 Amidst Fierce Competition

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 5 Early Update: Featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, Stree 2 continues to dominate the box office. Directed by Amar Kaushik, this supernatural horror-comedy sequel faced a significant three-way clash on Independence Day 2024 with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa. However, Stree 2 emerged victorious by a substantial margin.

Despite a drop in collections on its second day, Stree 2 managed to earn Rs 31.4 crore on Friday and Rs 43.85 crore on Saturday. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 55.9 crore on Sunday, bringing the total estimated earnings (including paid reviews) to approximately Rs 191.45 crores in just four days.

Headlined by Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, Stree 2 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles. Amid high anticipation, the sequel opened with a box office collection of Rs 51.8 crore (excluding paid reviews) on Thursday.

The film is expected to see a decline in numbers today (first Monday). Despite this anticipated drop, it has already surpassed the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office on day five (Monday). According to the latest Sacnilk report, the Shraddha Kapoor starrer has earned around Rs 14.63 crore today as of now (till 6 PM).

Given the current enthusiasm for the film, it is expected to inch closer to the Rs 300 crore mark this week.
