Stree 2 Predicted To Face Box Office Dip On Day 26, Aiming For 530Cr Milestone

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 26 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's second collaboration, Stree 2, has been a major topic of discussion since its release. This film not only reunites Rajkummar and Shraddha but also serves as the sequel to the 2018 hit, Stree. Directed by Amar Kaushik, this horror-comedy centres around the 'sarkata bhoot' terrorising Chanderi village.

Besides Rajkummar and Shraddha, Stree 2 features Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee in significant roles. The movie also includes cameos by Akshay Kumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Varun Dhawan. Stree 2 had an impressive start with an opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores in 2024. It maintained strong performance at the box office during its initial weeks, competing with hits like Jawan, Pathaan, and Gadar 2.

The fourth weekend saw a notable increase in Stree 2's earnings. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 8.5 crores on its fourth Saturday (day 24). On the following day (day 25), it made Rs 10.75 crores, bringing its total collection to Rs 527 crores. This achievement marked the highest day-25 collection ever recorded.

Based on current trends, Stree 2 is expected to see a significant drop in earnings today (day 26/fourth Monday). The film is projected to make between Rs 4-5 crores today, pushing its total past Rs 530 crores. With Kareena Kapoor Khan's The Buckingham Murders releasing on September 13, it remains to be seen if Stree 2 can surpass the Rs 550 crore mark in its fourth week.

Following the success of Stree 2, there are rumours about a third instalment being planned. Abhishek Banerjee, who portrays Janaa in the series, mentioned to the Indian Express that while Stree 3 will take some time to materialise, parts of the script have already been written. He added that it promises to be "a big epic saga".
