Stree 2 Marks A Record-Breaking Day 25 At The Box Office With Stellar Performance

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 25: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 has become a massive hit, leaving no room for doubt. The horror comedy, which also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee, has been a box office sensation since its release, breaking numerous records. Despite facing competition from Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa, Stree 2 outperformed both films on its opening day.

With an impressive opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores, Stree 2 achieved the highest opening of 2024 and continued to grow significantly over the weekend. The absence of major releases in the second and third weeks allowed the film to maintain strong box office performance. Although there was a notable decline in collections before the fourth weekend, with daily earnings struggling to reach Rs 10 crores, the fourth weekend brought some relief for the filmmakers.

In addition to surpassing Gadar 2's lifetime collection, Stree 2 set a new record on its 24th day of release. The horror comedy recorded the highest day 24 collection ever, surpassing Jawan's Rs 9.12 crores with its own impressive figures.

According to Sacnilk, Stree 2 saw an increase of over 88% on day 24 (fourth Saturday), earning Rs 8.5 crores. This was followed by a collection of Rs 10.75 crores on day 25 (fourth Sunday), bringing the total earnings to Rs 527 crores. Notably, Stree 2 has surpassed Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 lifetime collection of Rs 524.45 crores.

The success of Stree 2 has sparked rumours about a third installment in the franchise. Abhishek Banerjee, who portrays Janaa in the series, mentioned to the Indian Express that while Stree 3 will take some time to materialise, parts of the script have already been written. He also hinted that it will be "a big epic saga".

The film's remarkable performance at the box office is evident from its consistent earnings and record-breaking achievements. With no significant releases during its second and third weeks, Stree 2 maintained a strong hold at theatres.
