Stree 2 Set To Join The Elite 400-Cr Club In India By Day 12 Amid Box Office Battle
Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 12 Early Update: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's film, Stree 2, maintains its strong performance at the box office. Directed by Amar Kaushik, this supernatural horror-comedy sequel premiered on 15th August 2024, competing with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa. The film has not only captivated audiences but also set new box office records, emerging as the year's biggest hit.
The movie features Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee. It received positive reviews from viewers and earned approximately Rs 51.8 crore on its opening day.
In its first week, Stree 2 amassed Rs 291.65 crore. On the second Saturday, it collected Rs 33 crore and Rs 42.4 crore on the second Sunday, according to Sacnilk. The total estimated nett collection for the film now stands at Rs 384.55 crore over 11 days.
The makers have reported that the film has grossed around Rs 560 crore worldwide in just 11 days.
The momentum for Stree 2 continues unabated at the box office. As of Monday (Day 12), Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's film is poised to reach a significant milestone. According to Sacnilk's latest report, Stree 2 has already earned around Rs 8.59 crore by 4:30 PM on its second Monday.
Despite a slight dip in numbers, the buzz suggests that the film could earn between Rs 20-25 crore today (second Monday). It is highly likely that Stree 2 will enter the Rs 400 crore-club (nett) in India by the end of today.
