Srikanth's Strong Box Office Journey: On Track To Surpass 25Cr Today?

Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 10 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao is currently experiencing a busy schedule, having had two releases this month - Srikanth and Mr & Mrs Mahi. Srikanth, which premiered on May 10, has been well-received. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, Srikanth is a biopic on Srikanth Bolla, a visually-impaired industrialist and founder of Bollant Industries. The film stars Rajkummar in the titular role, alongside Jyothika, Sharad Kelkar, and Alaya F.

The movie has garnered significant attention and praise, particularly for Rajkummar Rao's performance. Srikanth opened with a decent box office collection of Rs 2.25 crores on its first day, followed by an impressive weekend. Although the first Monday saw a considerable dip in numbers, the film maintained a strong hold at the box office throughout the first week.

Srikanth Eyes 25Cr Mark

The second weekend brought renewed optimism as Srikanth experienced an 88% increase in collections. According to Sacnilk, Srikanth earned Rs 2.75 crores on its ninth day (second Saturday), bringing the total collection to Rs 22.1 crores. Based on current trends, it is anticipated that Srikanth will see another increase in collections today (day 10/second Sunday), potentially crossing the Rs 25 crores mark.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao is preparing for his second release of the month - Mr and Mrs Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Sharan Sharma, this film marks Rajkummar's second collaboration with Janhvi after Roohi. Recently, Janhvi shared insights about the movie, stating, "Our director is a purist and works with a lot of honesty, so he wanted me to become a cricketer for the film. He didn't want any cheating on that, didn't want to use VFX, or do anything half-heartedly. He wanted me to be one with this universe, be a cricketer wholeheartedly. I suffered a lot of injuries as well while prepping. Both my shoulders were dislocated, but I'd like to give all the credit to him, the director, and both my coaches Abhishek Nayar and Vikrant sir, who have done a lot of hard work and have held my hand at every turn."
