Sooraj Ohri Reflects On Representing India And Learning In Hollywood
Indian Police Force actor Sooraj Ohri has recently signed with Sovereign Talent Group for comprehensive representation, as reported by Deadline.
Sooraj's last appearance was in the Amazon Prime series Indian Police Force. He has also starred in TV shows like Parineeti on Colors TV, Discovery+'s Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh, 21 Sarfarosh, and Sony Entertainment Television's Maharana Pratap.

When asked about his experience in Hollywood, Sooraj shared, "Los Angeles as a city is a complete melting pot of all nationalities from across the world. That in itself makes the city deeply experiential. And the same thing percolates into Hollywood, as you are interacting and mingling with different nationalities and getting to learn a lot more."
He particularly enjoys his time at Brian Cutler Actors Studio. "The training in this studio is the best in Hollywood. You are acting in front of a proper camera (ECU - extreme close-ups) with mics just like you are on sets. The best part is that you get original scripts drafted by the studio itself. And you have co-actors from all over the world in one room. The learning curve is huge and very rewarding. The craft always comes first," he said.
Sooraj emphasised the significance of being genuine while networking. "The art of networking can be misconstrued and can carry an agenda. But if we can just go into places being genuine and wanting to connect with like-minded people it changes the whole game and brings a very fresh and fun perspective into it," he added.
The actor also expressed gratitude for his connections in Hollywood. "I am very grateful to be connected with some very good people here and to be invited to red carpet events and some important networking events which also give you a more holistic experience of Hollywood," he said.
Representing India on a Global Stage
Lastly, Sooraj stated, "That being in Hollywood is like representing India on a global level and making the industry back home proud. A lot of interesting things are in the pipeline and I am excited and driven to take this new challenge on. For me, it's all about the climb. Deeply in love with the process."
