Sonu Sood Aids Seven-Month-Old Sehrish Fatima In Battle Against Spinal Muscular Atrophy

Sonu Sood, known for his charitable efforts, has been hailed as a national hero. Recently, he has been actively supporting infants suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a condition that leads to severe muscle weakness. The treatment costs a staggering Rs 16 crore. Through crowdfunding, Sood has successfully helped save the lives of 11 babies affected by this disorder.

In his latest philanthropic endeavour, Sonu Sood is advocating for seven-month-old Sehrish Fatema, who is battling SMA Type 1. He has called on the public to contribute to her cause. "A small contribution can make a world of difference for this little girl and her family," Sood stated. His involvement has significantly boosted the crowdfunding campaign aimed at saving Fatema's life.

On the professional front, Sonu Sood is immersed in his upcoming film 'Fateh'. This project marks his debut as a director and is a cybercrime thriller expected to rival Hollywood action films. The movie features Naseeruddin Siddiqui and Jacqueline Fernandez alongside Sood in key roles. 'Fateh' is scheduled for release on January 10, 2025.
