Shatrughan Sinha Confirms Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal's Reception Date Amid Resolved Family Conflicts

However, the veteran actor clarified that all issues have now been resolved. He also corrected misinformation about the wedding date, stating that June 23 is actually the date of the couple's reception, not the wedding.

In an interview with Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha clarified that the event on June 23 is a wedding reception, not the wedding itself. He emphasized that no one from his family had mentioned a wedding date, attributing the misinformation to media speculation. He also expressed that excessive attention was being paid to what is essentially a private family matter.

He stated, "It is the wedding reception that we are all attending on the evening of June 23."

Addressing the rumours of familial discord, Shatrughan said, "Shadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted. Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha's daughter, it doesn't mean Sonakshi can't have what she wants in life. We will have a great time on June 23."

The speculation about a rift started when Shatrughan mentioned he was unaware of Sonakshi's upcoming wedding. In a recent interview, he denounced the false narratives being spread about his family. "Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It's the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I'm very proud of and immensely fond of," Shatrughan told Times Now.

Shatrughan expressed his full support for Sonakshi's choice of partner, stating, "Sonakshi has every right to choose her partner, and I am supportive of her decision. Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live their life together, and they look very nice together."

He also responded to those spreading false information, issuing a warning with his iconic dialogue, "Khamosh, it's none of your business."

The guest list for Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding reception includes prominent names like Salman Khan, Honey Singh, the cast of Heeramandi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Daisy Shah, and Poonam Dhillon.
