Shatrughan Sinha Defends Daughter Sonakshi Sinha Amid Mukesh Khanna Ramayana Controversy

In 2019, Sonakshi couldn't answer a Ramayana-related question, leading Mukesh Khanna to criticise her upbringing. Recently, Sonakshi addressed this issue with an open letter on Instagram.

The veteran actor was quoted saying, "I believe someone has a problem with Sonakshi not answering a question on the Ramayana. Firstly what qualifies this person to be an expert on all things to do with the Ramayana? And who has appointed him the guardian of the Hindu religion?"

Shatrughan Sinha further praised Sonakshi's achievements, noting she became successful without needing his help to launch her career. He asserted that she doesn't require validation from anyone regarding her faith or identity as a Hindu.
