Sonakshi Sinha Marries Zaheer Iqbal: Zaheer Iqbal and Sonakshi Sinha are now officially married. The couple, who have been in a relationship for several years, tied the knot in Mumbai today, according to a report by Indian Express. The wedding was an intimate ceremony attended by close family members. Sonakshi and Zaheer had a registered marriage at the actress' residence.

The news of their wedding emerged earlier this month, but both Sonakshi and Zaheer remained silent about it. There were numerous speculations regarding whether the couple would marry according to Hindu or Muslim traditions. However, they opted for a civil marriage. Following the registered marriage, Sonakshi and Zaheer are set to host a grand wedding reception at Bastian tonight.

DJ Ganesh shared details about the reception with Dubai Brew, stating, "Sonakshi has a private reception at Bastian in Dadar. I think 1,000 people are invited. So, I think it will be a full-on Bollywood mix-off until 4 in the morning." Celebrities like Salman Khan, Tabu, Honey Singh, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, and the cast of Heeramandi sans Manisha Koirala are expected to attend.

There have been rumours about Sonakshi converting to Islam post-wedding. However, Zaheer's father, Iqbal Ratansi, clarified to Free Press General that Sonakshi is not converting. He stated, "She is not converting and that is for sure. Theirs is a union of hearts and religion has no role to play whatsoever. I believe in humanity. God is called Bhagwan by Hindus and Allah by Muslims. But at the end of the day, we are all human beings. My blessings are with Zaheer and Sonakshi."
