Sky Force Box Office Prediction: Akshay Kumar's Film Expected To Surpass Rs 25 Crores Ahead Of Republic Day

Akshay Kumar is making headlines with his latest film, Sky Force. Released ahead of Republic Day 2025, this patriotic movie is directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani. It tells the true story of India's first airstrike during the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965, focusing on the attack on Pakistan's Sargodha airbase. The film also stars newcomers Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrit Kaur.

The film features Akshay and Veer as Indian Air Force pilots, whose friendship has captivated audiences. Additionally, Veer's on-screen chemistry with Sara Ali Khan has been widely discussed. Sacnilk reports that Sky Force had a successful start at the box office, earning Rs 11.25 crores on its first day. This makes it the highest opening for any film in 2025 so far.

With positive reviews and growing interest, Sky Force is expected to perform even better on its second day. Predictions suggest it could earn between Rs 13-15 crores today, potentially surpassing the Rs 25 crores mark.

The character I play, Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, based on Group Captain O.P Taneja, is senior to the character Veer plays in the film - T. Vijaya, based on Sqd. Ldr. Devaiah.
