Sky Force Box Office Collection Week 1 Prediction: Akshay Kumar's Film Set To Surpass Rs 95 Crores
Akshay Kumar's latest film, Sky Force, has been making waves at the box office. Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, the movie is based on true events. It features a stellar cast including Sharad Kelkar, Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, and newcomer Veer Pahariya. Akshay and Veer play Indian Air Force officers, bringing a story of courage to life.
The film delves into India's first airstrike during the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965, focusing on the attack on Pakistan's Sargodha airbase. Sharad Kelkar portrays a Pakistani officer with depth. This marks Akshay Kumar's debut as an Indian Air Force pilot, and his chemistry with Veer Pahariya has captivated audiences. The film has received both viewer praise and critical acclaim, performing well at the box office.

Sky Force has maintained its box office momentum despite an initial dip on Monday. According to Rohit Jaiswal in a conversation with Filmibeat, the film is expected to earn between Rs 97-99 crores in its first week.
If predictions hold true, Sky Force could achieve the highest opening week collection of 2025. The competition will intensify with Shahid Kapoor's Deva releasing on January 31.
Discussing Sky Force, Akshay told HT City: "Everyone declared him (Sqd. Ldr. A.B. Devaiah) a traitor and 23 saal tak kisi ko nahi pata tha that actually he was a hero. The character I play, Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, based on Group Captain O.P Taneja, is senior to the character Veer plays in the film - T. Vijaya, based on Sqd. Ldr. Devaiah. Aap log vishwas karenge ki 23 saal baad inke parivar ko sarkaar ne maha vir chakra diya? The whole film is not only about war, it is also about what happens to the family and the children left behind".
