Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 8 Prediction: Akshay Kumar's Film Anticipates Slowdown With Deva Release
Akshay Kumar's latest film, Sky Force, has been making headlines. This action drama, where Akshay plays an Indian Air Force officer for the first time, is based on a true story. The film also marks the debut of Veer Pahariya and features Sara Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar, and Nimrat Kaur. Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, it is one of the year's most awaited releases.
Sky Force draws inspiration from India's first airstrike during the Indo-Pakistani air war in 1965. The film focuses on the Sargodha airbase attack in Pakistan. Veer's debut performance and his chemistry with Akshay and Sara have caught attention. After a successful first week at the box office, Sky Force aims to maintain its momentum into the second week.

Sacnilk reported that Sky Force experienced a 6% dip in earnings by the end of its first week. On day seven, which was a Wednesday, it earned Rs 5.64 crores. This brought its total earnings to Rs 86.41 crores, marking it as the highest-grossing film of 2025's first week.
As Shahid Kapoor's Deva releases today, Sky Force might see a slight decline in collections on its eighth day. It is anticipated to earn between Rs 4-5 crores today (second Friday). The film is expected to surpass Rs 90 crores at the Indian box office soon.
Discussing Sky Force, Akshay shared with HT City: "Everyone declared him (Sqd. Ldr. A.B. Devaiah) a traitor and 23 saal tak kisi ko nahi pata tha that actually he was a hero. The character I play, Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, based on Group Captain O.P Taneja, is senior to the character Veer plays in the film - T. Vijaya, based on Sqd. Ldr. Devaiah. Aap log vishwas karenge ki 23 saal baad inke parivar ko sarkaar ne maha vir chakra diya? The whole film is not only about war, it is also about what happens to the family and the children left behind".
