Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: Akshay Kumar's Film Expected To See Another Drop

Akshay Kumar's latest film, Sky Force, has made a notable entry into cinemas, marking his first release this year. The film is set during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani air conflict and highlights India's airstrike on Pakistan's Sargodha airbase. Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, the movie features a talented cast including Nimrat Kaur, Sara Ali Khan, and Sharad Kelkar. Veer Pahariya makes his debut in this film that delves into the lives of Indian Air Force officers and their families amid wartime challenges.

The performances in Sky Force add depth to its storyline. Akshay Kumar and newcomer Veer Pahariya portray Indian Air Force officers, with Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan as their respective partners. Sharad Kelkar plays a Pakistani Air Force officer, offering an essential viewpoint to the plot. This diverse casting enriches the narrative by presenting multiple perspectives. Although Sky Force had a promising start at the box office, it experienced a significant decline on its first Monday.

Sky Force enjoyed a strong opening weekend but faced a steep drop in earnings on its first Monday. According to Sacnilk's report, the film earned Rs 6.25 crores on day four (first Monday), bringing its total collection to Rs 68.50 crores.

The current trend suggests that Sky Force may see another decrease in earnings today. The film is expected to earn between Rs 5-6 crores on day five (first Tuesday), edging closer to the Rs 75 crores milestone.

Discussing Sky Force, Akshay Kumar shared with HT City, "Everyone declared him (Sqd. Ldr. A.B. Devaiah) a traitor and 23 saal tak kisi ko nahi pata tha that actually he was a hero. The character I play, Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, based on Group Captain O.P Taneja, is senior to the character Veer plays in the film - T. Vijaya, based on Sqd. Ldr. Devaiah. Aap log vishwas karenge ki 23 saal baad inke parivar ko sarkaar ne maha vir chakra diya? The whole film is not only about war, it is also about what happens to the family and the children left behind".
