Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 2: Akshay Kumar's Film Surpasses Fighter In Morning Show Occupancy

Akshay Kumar's latest film, Sky Force, has captivated audiences with its thrilling storyline. Released on January 24, 2025, this action-packed drama marks Akshay's first film of the year. It features Sara Ali Khan and Nimrit Kaur alongside newcomer Veer Pahariya, son of businessman Sanjay Pahariya and Smruit Shinde. On its second day, Sky Force continued to perform well at the box office. After earning Rs 11.25 crores on opening day, it maintained an impressive hold with a morning show occupancy of 23.53% on Saturday, according to Sacnilk.

Sky Force has been compared to Hrithik Roshan's Fighter but managed to surpass it on the second day. Fighter recorded a footfall of 23.40% in morning shows on its second day.

Discussing Sky Force, Akshay Kumar shared with HT City: "Everyone declared him (Sqd. Ldr. A.B. Devaiah) a traitor and 23 saal tak kisi ko nahi pata tha that actually he was a hero. The character I play, Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, based on Group Captain O.P Taneja, is senior to the character Veer plays in the film - T. Vijaya, based on Sqd. Ldr. Devaiah. Aap log vishwas karenge ki 23 saal baad inke parivar ko sarkaar ne maha vir chakra diya? The whole film is not only about war, it is also about what happens to the family and the children left behind".
