Singham Again Box Office Day 2: Ajay Devgn's Film Sees Slight Dip Amid Competition With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

Ajay Devgn returns as Bajirao Singham in Rohit Shetty's much-anticipated film, Singham Again. This cop action drama is the fifth instalment in Shetty's cop universe, following Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. The film features a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff.

Singham Again serves as a sequel to the 2014 movie Singham Returns and incorporates themes from the Ramayana. Arjun Kapoor takes on the role of the main antagonist in this film. Additionally, Salman Khan makes a special cameo appearance that has generated significant buzz. The movie opened to considerable excitement and achieved a solid start at the box office.

According to Sacnilk reports, Singham Again earned Rs 43.5 crores on its opening day. However, there was a slight decline in earnings on day two (first Saturday), with collections amounting to Rs 41.50 crores. This brought the total earnings of the film to Rs 85 crores.

Despite experiencing a drop in numbers, Singham Again surpassed Baahubali 2's first Saturday earnings. For context, Prabhas' Baahubali 2 had collected Rs 40.5 crores on its first Saturday of release.

In an interesting development at the box office, Singham Again faces competition from Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a horror comedy. It remains to be seen which film will dominate the box office battle.
