Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 17: Ajay Devgn's Film Struggles To Reach Rs 5 Crores Amid Kanguva Release

Rohit Shetty's Singham Again has been a major topic of discussion since its announcement. Ajay Devgn returns as Bajirao Singham, a role fans have eagerly awaited for ten years. This film is the fifth in Shetty's cop universe, following Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. Notably, this marks the 11th collaboration between Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn, exciting fans even more.

The film boasts a star-studded cast with Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor playing significant roles. Arjun Kapoor takes on the role of the main antagonist, adding a new twist to the story. Additionally, Salman Khan makes a special appearance as Chulbul Singham, enhancing the film's appeal with his cameo.

During its third weekend, Singham Again experienced some relief at the box office after struggling in its second week. According to Sacnilk reports, the film saw over a 21% increase in earnings on day 16 (third Saturday), collecting Rs 3.35 crores. On day 17 (third Sunday), it earned Rs 4.25 crores, bringing its total earnings to Rs 230.85 crore. However, it couldn't surpass the Rs 5 crores mark during this weekend due to competition from Suriya and Bobby Deol's Kanguva.

Despite maintaining a steady presence at the box office, Singham Again hasn't surpassed Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi in earnings. To provide context, Sooryavanshi had collected Rs 5.33 crores on its third Sunday of release.

Ajay Devgn expressed his gratitude for the audience's positive response to Singham Again. In an interview with ANI, he shared his happiness: "I am very happy that people are liking this film. The film is running for quite long now. A good revenue is being generated for the theatres. People are going to watch this film..."
