Shubhchintak: Parthiv Gohil And Manasi Parekh Launch New Dark Comedy Thriller Film

Singer Parthiv Gohil and actor-singer Manasi Parekh, fresh from winning three National Awards for "Kutch Express," have announced their next project. The Gujarati film, titled "Shubhchintak," will feature Manasi alongside Marathi cinema superstar Swapnil Joshi, marking his debut in Gujarati films. The cast also includes Viraf Patel, Esha Kansara, Deep Vaidya, and Tusharika.

The actors recently gathered for a look test and have commenced filming in Surat. "Shubhchintak" is a dark comedy thriller, introducing a new genre to Gujarati cinema. Directed by Nisarg Vaidya, known for his work with Sidharth Randeria, the film will be shot in two phases across Mumbai and Surat.

Producer Parthiv Gohil expressed enthusiasm about casting Swapnil Joshi. "Swapnil is very excited to be doing a Gujarati film because he is seeing how the industry is growing by leaps and bounds. Also, he has always wanted to work with Manasi as an actor, so this was the perfect opportunity," he stated.

Manasi Parekh shared her thoughts on the film's unique appeal. "We are just about to roll so I can't give away much, all I can say at this stage is that Subhchintank opens up a totally new genre of cinema in the Gujarati industry. It is a pacy dark comedy-thriller that will certainly take the audiences by surprise and Swapnil's role is to watch out for. He is a seasoned actor but I'm sure this role will be quite a career defining one for him. We are committed to creating innovative content with every film and we will push ourselves a little more, especially now after 'Kutch Express,'" she said.

"Shubhchintak" is produced under the Soul Sutra banner, which has previously delivered hits like "Golkeri," "Kutch Express," and "Jhamkudi." Dhaval Thakkar from RD Brothers joins as co-producer alongside Soul Sutra for this venture.
