Stree 2 Sets New Benchmarks At Box Office, Shraddha Kapoor Leads The Way

Stree 2: Shraddha Kapoor's latest film, Stree 2, continues to dominate the box office. The horror-comedy has not only become the year's biggest opener but also set a new record. It is the first female-led film to enter the 100 Cr (Gross collection) club within just two days of its release. The film's success persisted on its third day as well.

As per early estimates from Sacnilk, Stree 2 maintained its strong performance on day three, earning Rs. 44 Cr nett in India over its first weekend. This brings the movie's total nett collection in India to Rs. 135.7 Cr. On its opening day, it collected Rs. 51.8 Cr, followed by Rs. 31.4 Cr on the second day. Additionally, it garnered Rs. 8.5 Cr from paid previews before its official release. The report also noted a Hindi occupancy rate of 55.72% on Saturday.

The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddocks Film and Jio Studios banners. Besides Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the cast includes Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee in significant roles.

Stree 2's impressive box office run highlights its popularity among audiences and cements its status as a major hit this year.
