Independence Day 2024: Sheena Chohan, an actress renowned for her contributions to independent cinema, commemorated Independence Day by reflecting on her collaborations with esteemed independent film directors. Her career includes working with some of the most respected figures in the industry.
Sheena's collaboration with Aditya Om, an independent filmmaker, was particularly enriching. Aditya Om's meticulous attention to detail and respect for religious sensitivities and historical accuracies allowed Sheena to delve deeply into her character. Her film "Amar Prem" was launched at the Cannes Film Festival. Recently, she completed filming "Nomad," a Hollywood film shot across 26 countries that equalled a Guinness Record.

Sheena also worked with Jairaj, a seven-time National Award-winning director. In this collaboration, she played the love interest of Mammootty in an action film directed by Jairaj. To fully embody her character, Sheena studied local Malayalam women, observing their expressions, mannerisms, and cultural reactions.
