According to Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha was admitted for a routine check-up after an injury. He tripped in the dining room earlier this week, injuring his ribs on June 25. Sonakshi managed to extend her hand just in time, preventing more severe injuries to her father.

The actor received immediate medical care and was initially advised to rest at home. However, he later complained of rib pain, prompting doctors to recommend hospitalisation for further tests. Reports indicate that recent test results show no internal injuries. The veteran actor is expected to be discharged tomorrow.

Filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani confirmed the news to Times Now, stating, "Yes, Shatru ji is in hospital. But he is absolutely fine now. He should be back home by tomorrow evening."
