Shaheer Sheikh: Why He Is Called The Shah Rukh Khan Of Indonesia
Shaheer Sheikh is enjoying the success of "Do Patti," where he captivated audiences as Dhruv Sood. Recently, the cast of "Do Patti" appeared on "The Kapil Sharma Show." During the show, host Kapil Sharma revealed that Shaheer is often referred to as the 'Shah Rukh Khan of Indonesia'.
Shaheer Sheikh's fame skyrocketed after his portrayal of Arjuna in the hit TV series "Mahabharat" (2013). This role made him a household name and expanded his fan base significantly. His popularity extended beyond India, gaining a strong following in Indonesia's entertainment industry.

When asked about being called the 'Shah Rukh Khan of Indonesia,' Shaheer shared an interesting story. He explained, "Shah Rukh Khan is a huge star over there. Every person knows him well. For them, India is represented by Shah Rukh Khan. So, when my show became popular and I did a couple of movies, they started calling me the Shah Rukh Khan of Indonesia."
Few are aware that Shaheer starred in popular Indonesian TV series like "Cinta di Langit Taj Mahal" and "Roro Jonggrang," playing lead roles. Besides acting, he hosted several reality and variety shows such as "Panah Asmara Arjuna" and appeared as a guest on "Asia's Got Talent".
Currently, Shaheer stars in "Do Patti" alongside Kajol and Kriti Sanon, who also produced the film. Kriti shared her experience as a producer: "It's amazing, yeah. It's amazing to just get into every part of the process of filmmaking. I think I remember, you know, now when I look back, like during Heropanti, when I came on set, I was like this curious child on the set who was like, 'Yeh nakli hai?', 'Yeh mombatti hai?', 'Yeh kiya hai'. And I didn't know what was real and what wasn't."
