Satyadeep Mishra discussed his previous profession as a lawyer and how it influenced his portrayal in "Illegal." He stated, "I have spent time in the courtroom environment. Although I worked in commercial law and this series revolves around criminal cases, the ideal presence in court has become a habit for me."

He added that this familiarity made it more natural for him to portray his character. "I was happy to assist my co-stars during the shoot and am pleased that my experience could be of use. I also engaged in extensive study, revisiting my books to ensure I did a better job," he said.

Character Development

Satyadeep further noted that his character's story has been significantly highlighted in this new season. "Puneet's journey as a lawyer and his personal life has been properly shown which gives a good depth to the character," he explained.
