Sarfira Aims For 10Cr On Day 3 Amidst Kalki 2898 AD Competition

Sarfira Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction: Akshay Kumar's second release of the year, Sarfira, has generated significant excitement among his fans. The film, which also stars Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal, is directed by Sudha Kongara. It is a remake of Suriya's successful movie Sorarai Pottru and marks Akshay's first collaboration with Radhika Madan. Additionally, Suriya makes a cameo appearance in the film, adding to its buzz.

Sarfira is based on G. R. Gopinath's memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey. The story revolves around a man determined to create affordable airlines for low-income individuals despite facing numerous obstacles. Despite the anticipation, the film received mixed reviews and had a slow start at the box office.

Sarfira Eyes 10Cr on Day 3

According to Sacnilk, Sarfira earned Rs 2.5 crores on its opening day. On the second day (Saturday), it saw an increase, collecting Rs 4.25 crores, bringing the total to Rs 6.75 crores. Following this trend, it is expected to earn Rs 5-6 crores on the third day, potentially crossing the Rs 10 crore mark. However, Sarfira faces stiff competition from Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's Kalki 2898 AD.

Akshay Kumar expressed his gratitude for being part of Sarfira, stating, "This is my 150th film and it is my best film. I am very thankful to Sudha for giving me this film and the opportunity to be in it". He also praised Radhika Madan's performance: "This is the best performance I have ever seen. I don't know what you all think about her. She is not Maharashtrian, but she has acted like one. She is very well-spoken."

Despite its initial struggle at the box office, Sarfira’s storyline and cast have managed to generate considerable interest among audiences. The film’s unique premise of making air travel accessible to low-income people adds a compelling layer to its narrative.

The competition from Kalki 2898 AD has been significant, impacting Sarfira’s box office performance considerably. Kalki 2898 AD’s strong presence in theatres has overshadowed Akshay Kumar’s latest release.

As Sarfira continues its run in theatres, it remains to be seen how it will fare against other releases and whether it can maintain its momentum at the box office.
