Sarfira Beats Bade Miyan Chote Miyan In Day 1 Advance Bookings
Sarfira Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar, who was last seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Tiger Shroff, is back in the spotlight for his upcoming film Sarfira. This movie also features Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal in key roles. Directed by Sudha Kongara, Sarfira is a remake of the popular Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, which starred Suriya. The original film was based on G. R. Gopinath's memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey.
The storyline of Sarfira centres around a man determined to create affordable airlines for low-income individuals, facing numerous obstacles from adversaries. From its cast to its trailer, every aspect of Sarfira has been generating buzz since its announcement. Given this excitement, the makers recently started advance bookings, sparking speculation about its box office performance.

According to Sacnilk, Sarfira collected Rs 22.4 lakhs within the first 24 hours by selling over 11 thousand tickets. Notably, Sarfira surpassed Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which had sold over 9500 tickets in the same timeframe. It remains to be seen how Sarfira will perform at the box office after its release.
Interestingly, Suriya is reported to make a special appearance in Sarfira, marking Akshay's 150th lead role film. Reflecting on this milestone, Akshay said, "This is my 150th film and it is my best film. I am very thankful to Sudha for giving me this film and the opportunity to be in it." He also praised co-star Radhika Madan's performance: "This is the best performance I have ever seen. I don't know what you all think about her. She is not Maharashtrian, but she has acted like one. She is very well-spoken. Her language was very good and she has gone through whole classes to learn how to speak Marathi and what to say. That is what she has done." Sarfira will be released on July 12.
