Sarfira Day 1 Advance Booking: Akshay-Radhika Starrer Struggles To Hit 1Cr Mark

Sarfira Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar has been making headlines recently, and for good reason. His much-anticipated film, Sarfira, has finally been released. The movie also stars Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan, and Seema Biswas in lead roles and is directed by Sudha Kongara. This film marks Akshay's first collaboration with Radhika and is a remake of Suriya's hit film Sorarai Pottru. Notably, Sarfira is Akshay's 150th film, which he is very excited about.

For those unfamiliar with the plot, Sarfira centres on a man who aims to create affordable airlines for low-income people but faces numerous obstacles from various adversaries. The trailer, songs, and the chemistry between Akshay and Radhika have all garnered significant attention. Despite this, the advance booking for Sarfira received an average response from the audience when it opened a few days ago.

Sarfira Misses 1Cr Booking Mark

According to a report by Sacnilk, Sarfira did not manage to surpass Rs 1 crore in advance booking collections. The film earned Rs 62.05 lakhs within the first 24 hours before its release by selling over 30,560 tickets.

Discussing Sarfira, Akshay said, "This is my 150th film and it is my best film. I am very thankful to Sudha for giving me this film and the opportunity to be in it". He also praised his co-star Radhika's performance: "This is the best performance I have ever seen. I don't know what you all think about her. She is not Maharashtrian, but she has acted like one. She is very well-spoken. Her language was very good and she has gone through whole classes to learn how to speak Marathi and what to say. That is what she has done".

The storyline of Sarfira focuses on making air travel accessible to everyone, particularly those with lower incomes. This noble aim faces resistance from various quarters throughout the movie. The chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan has been a highlight since the trailer release.

The advance booking figures indicate that while there was interest in Sarfira, it did not translate into high pre-release ticket sales. This could be due to several factors including competition from other films or market conditions.

Akshay Kumar’s enthusiasm for his milestone 150th film reflects his dedication to his craft and excitement about this project. His collaboration with director Sudha Kongara and co-star Radhika Madan adds another layer of interest for fans.

Sarfira’s journey at the box office will be closely watched in the coming days as audiences get a chance to see if it lives up to expectations set by its trailer and promotional materials.

The initial response might not have been overwhelming in terms of advance bookings, but there remains potential for growth as word-of-mouth spreads following its release.
