Sanjana Sanghi Explores The Balance Between Authenticity And Popularity In The Film Industry
Sanjana Sanghi has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the youngest Indian actor to deliver a keynote speech at the Summit of the Future's opening ceremony. Her dedication to youth advocacy and women's empowerment remains strong. Recently, she participated in a Leadership Summit with Nag Ashwin, the director of Kalki 2898 AD, at the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad.
During the summit, Sanjana addressed the challenge actors face between authenticity and popularity on film sets. She stated, "I wouldn't want to be popular at the cost of being authentic. I cannot even, while I am at any event, be someone I am not, so if popularity is the by product of being authentic then great otherwise just popularity on it's own isn't so satisfying."

Nag Ashwin echoed Sanjana's sentiments on maintaining authenticity over seeking popularity. He remarked, "Completely Agree to what Sanjana just said, for the most part you want to be real even when you are outside a film set. I don't know what the choice is really, but yes just be authentic!" Their shared views highlighted a common struggle in balancing personal values with industry demands.
The audience showed their appreciation for both Nag Ashwin and Sanjana Sanghi as they concluded their discussion on Creative Leadership. The insightful conversation left attendees reflecting on the importance of staying true to oneself in creative fields.
