Mumbai Traffic Police Investigate Threat Message Demanding Rs 5 Crore From Salman Khan
The Mumbai traffic police have received a threat message demanding Rs 5 crore from Bollywood actor Salman Khan, according to officials. The message was sent to the city's traffic control room via WhatsApp on Thursday afternoon. The sender threatened the actor and demanded the money, prompting an investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, the Worli police have registered a case under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for threat and extortion. This comes after previous threats to Salman Khan from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In April, members of this gang had fired shots outside Khan's Bandra residence.

The Navi Mumbai police recently uncovered a plot by the Bishnoi gang to kill Khan in June. They arrested one of its shooters, Sukhbir Singh, from Haryana's Panipat. This arrest highlights ongoing threats against the actor from this notorious gang.
Authorities are actively investigating these threats and taking necessary precautions to ensure Salman Khan's safety. The situation remains tense as law enforcement works to address these serious security concerns.
