Somy Ali Claims She Hunted With Salman Khan Amid Blackbuck Poaching Controversy

Salman Khan has been in the spotlight recently due to a series of death threats. The actor, known for his involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, is reportedly targeted by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang, who hold the animal sacred. Salman's father, Salim Khan, has denied claims that Salman enjoys harming animals. Meanwhile, Somy Ali, Salman's ex-girlfriend, shared her experiences of hunting with him and mentioned an incident where he refused to take her along because she was too loud.

Somy Ali clarified that Salman was unaware of the Bishnoi community's reverence for blackbucks. She recounted how during the 1998 shooting incident, Salman chose not to include her because her noise would scare away the animals. She stated, "I can assure you that Salman didn't know the Bishnoi community worships blackbucks. I have been hunting with Salman many times during outdoor shooting. During the 1998 shooting, he didn't take me because he said 'you prey out loud on purpose and animals start running away'. I don't like hunting as a sport. One time I didn't go, he ended up catching the animal."

Somy Ali's Claims on Hunting with Salman Khan

Ali further emphasized that Salman had no knowledge of the religious significance of blackbucks to the Bishnoi community. She said, "The Bishnoi community needs to understand that Salman didn't know. He told me that he had no idea. It's absurd." She questioned why Salman should apologize for something he was unaware of and described it as unreasonable to expect an apology for an unintentional act.

She continued by addressing perceptions about Salman's personality: "Why should he apologise for something he didn't know about? That's like doing something inadvertently, unintentionally and being forced to apologise for it. It makes no sense. It's not about ego. People say that he (Salman) is very arrogant and he has a reputation. I have nothing to do with him or his family today. I just don't want anyone murdered, in Bollywood or Hollywood. Violence is never the answer."

In light of these events, Somy Ali expressed her intention to interview Lawrence Bishnoi upon her visit to India in November to gain insight into his perspective.
