Salman Khan's Sikandar Teaser Release Postponed To Honour Manmohan Singh's Memory
The teaser launch for Salman Khan's upcoming movie "Sikandar," initially set for December 27, has been postponed. This change was made to honour the nation's mourning period following the passing of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment announced on its official X account that the teaser will now be released on December 28 at 11:07 AM.
Manmohan Singh, who passed away at 92 due to age-related issues, was a respected economist and served as India's Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014. His significant contributions include the New Economic Policy of 1991. After leading the Congress party to victory in the 2004 Lok Sabha elections, he was succeeded by PM Narendra Modi in 2014.

Despite the delay, excitement for "Sikandar" remains high among Salman Khan's fans. A poster released before his birthday showed him in a rugged look with a spear, sparking anticipation for the teaser. The film, featuring Rashmika Mandanna alongside Salman, is set to release next Eid. Salman is also hosting "Bigg Boss 14" and will appear in "Kick 2," another Sajid Nadiadwala project.
The film industry and the nation mourn Manmohan Singh's loss, with celebrities like Kapil Sharma and Madhuri Dixit paying tribute. The decision to delay the teaser reflects respect for Singh's legacy and unites fans in remembrance. As they await the new release date, there's a shared moment of reflection on Singh's impact on modern India.
