Kick 2 Sequel: Salman Khan's Action-Drama To Start Production Next Year

Salman Khan had delivered one of the highest grossers of the year back in 2014 with 'Kick', co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez. While fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel, we have a good news for all the Salman Khan fans out there. We have got our hands on an interesting scoop about the much-anticipated action-drama sequel.

In 2014, Salman Khan had taken the box office by storm with 'Kick' - the Hindi remake of the 2009 blockbuster Telugu film of the same name. For this unversed, the Telugu original had starred Ravi Teja and Ileana D'Cruz in the lead.

Now, according to a Mid-Day report, Salman Khan is all set to return as Devi Lal "Devil" Singh in the highly-anticipated sequel, Kick 2. As the report further suggests, producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who had directed the first part, is currently busy writing the script for Kick 2.

If everything goes well, the sequel might go on floors next year. "Sajid has been busy writing the script. He will have to figure out the timelines because he is also overseeing several productions under his banner. He wants to ensure smooth functioning of the productions in order to dedicate his entire time to direct Kick 2," a source informed the portal.

This project will mark Salman's reunion once again with his filmmaker friend Sajid Nadiadwala. "Salman and Sajid are thick friends, and both are excited about joining forces again for Kick 2," the source added.

On the work front, Salman Khan has already kickstarted shooting for his next biggie 'Sikandar'. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the multi-crore-budget film stars Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady and has been scheduled for Eid 2025 release.
