Salman Khan Receives New Death Threat Demanding Rs 2 Crore; Mumbai Police Launch Investigation
Bollywood star Salman Khan has reportedly been threatened with death once more. An anonymous message demanded Rs two crore from him, prompting the Mumbai police to file an FIR against an unknown individual. This incident adds to a series of threats the actor has faced recently.
The Mumbai traffic police received this threatening message on Tuesday. It warned that Khan would be killed if he didn't pay the demanded amount. The authorities have initiated an investigation into this matter, aiming to identify and apprehend the culprit behind these threats.

Earlier in the month, a similar threat was sent to the Mumbai traffic police's WhatsApp helpline. This message demanded Rs five crore from Khan. Following this, a man from Jamshedpur was arrested in connection with that threat, highlighting ongoing security concerns for the actor.
On Monday, another arrest was made by the Mumbai police. A man from Noida in Uttar Pradesh was detained for allegedly threatening both Salman Khan and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique. These incidents underscore the persistent danger surrounding Khan.
Khan has previously been targeted by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Earlier this year, suspected members of this gang fired shots outside his Bandra residence in April. This incident led to increased security measures around him due to potential threats from this criminal group.
A few months ago, Navi Mumbai police uncovered a plot by the Bishnoi gang aimed at killing Khan. This discovery prompted further security enhancements for his protection, reflecting ongoing concerns about his safety amidst these repeated threats.
The continuous threats against Salman Khan have raised significant alarm within Bollywood circles and among law enforcement agencies. Authorities remain vigilant as they work to ensure his safety and bring those responsible for these threats to justice.
