Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been facing threats from jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. They also claimed responsibility for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, a close friend of Salman. After Baba Siddique's murder, security around Salman Khan has been significantly increased. Reports indicate that he now receives Y+ category protection, which includes a police-escort vehicle accompanying him whenever he steps out of his residence.

The Bishnoi gang has stated they might forgive Salman if he visits their sacred Mukam Mukti Dham temple and apologizes for the blackbuck incident. Former BJP MP Harnath Singh Yadav also urged Salman on Twitter to apologize to the Bishnoi community. He tweeted in Hindi, "People make mistakes. You are a top actor, and a large number of people in the country love you. My good advice is to respect the Bishnoi community's sentiments and apologise for your big mistake."

The public remains divided on whether Salman should apologize to the Bishnoi community. Some fans believe that visiting the temple near Bikaner and expressing regret could be beneficial.
