Salman Khan And Amruta Fadnavis Champion Eco-Friendly Ganesh Celebrations

Salman Khan, speaking at the Bacche Bole Morya event organised by Amruta Fadnavis' Divyaj Foundation on August 28 at Dome SVP Stadium in Worli, urged the audience to use eco-friendly materials for Ganesh idols. "It is time we teach adults lessons in being earth friendly. Let us use terracotta or other eco-friendly materials to create our Ganesha idol this year," he said, receiving loud applause.

The event, supported by Chhatra Sansad India, BMC, and Mumbai Police, aimed to promote sustainability alongside celebrating Lord Ganesha. Amruta Fadnavis, who spearheaded the initiative, was thrilled as children embraced Salman Khan's advice on using earth-friendly materials. Her excitement highlighted the success of inspiring young minds towards sustainable practices.

Amruta Fadnavis emphasised the significance of such initiatives in fostering a sustainable future. She remarked, "By starting with our children, we have planted the seeds of awareness and responsibility that will grow into a deep-rooted respect for Mother Earth. It's about teaching them that every small action counts, and that through mindful choices, we can protect our planet."

The evening featured performances by renowned singers Sonu Nigam and Kailash Kher, who celebrated and encouraged children's efforts towards a greener planet. The event also showcased cultural performances by young participants.

Continuing with Bacche Bole Morya and #MiKachraKarnarNahi campaign launch, Amruta Fadnavis and Divyaj Foundation have called for a beach clean-up at Versova Beach after Ganpati Visarjan on Wednesday, 18th September 2024. This year's Ganesh Chaturthi appears to be eco-friendly in multiple ways due to Amruta Fadnavis' philanthropic efforts.

The program not only celebrated Lord Ganesha but also promoted a movement towards sustainability. Amruta Fadnavis' enthusiasm reflected the initiative's success in motivating the younger generation to adopt eco-friendly practices.
